About Us

About Us:

Mission:

To educate, guide and support others in fighting this battle against Lyme Disease.

From Tracie:

My name is Tracie Schissel and my sister is Leslie Wermers.  We both have late stage Lyme disease and have found that what seems to be worse than this horrendous hidden epidemic, is the plague of ignorance that surrounds it, most of which is by the medical community.

We would like to introduce ourselves to you and give you a brief explanation about our cause.  We believe that this our "purpose" in life - two sisters fighting this battle together and fighting this battle to help others!  This is why we decided to create our advocacy and support group, and will do our best to help you in anyway we can.

Most of all, we want you to know that you are not alone.  An estimated 200,000 + new cases of Lyme disease occur in the United States every year.

Lyme disease is the most misdiagnosed, misunderstood and mistreated disease in the world!  But, there is hope when you are treated by a "Lyme Literate Medical Doctor " or "LLMD".

All our best to you,

Tracie & Leslie

 ~UNDER THE EIGHTBALL~

~PLEASE VIEW THIS POWERFUL TRAILER~

http://www.undertheeightball.com/

In 1951 at Fort Detrick, Maryland,  construction crews built a hollow metal sphere four stories high. Inside germ weapons were to be exploded, creating mists of

"Infectious Aerosols"

for testing on animals........

"AND PEOPLE!"

Employees called it the eightball.
